It flew by.
We spent the majority of the summer moving. And I took zero pictures. For almost an entire month I would spend every week day moving boxes and unpacking and then in the evening going back and packing more boxes to unload and unpack the next day. It was not all that fun. Finally, I declared August “summertime.”
And the boys swam every single day. Sometimes jumping in the pool first thing in the morning, in their PJ’s. Rules were implemented after the fourth time this happened.
We had a few play-dates.
Went on a few day trips.
And then I woke up one morning and thought, “Holy cow, school starts on Monday.”
That was four days ago. Over the course of the summer, I took approximately 100 shots. Glamorous I know.
So without further ado, here is a snippet of our summer.
The boys went to VBS again this year.
Bogie was tested for allergies, so these guys spent the day with their cousins.
One of my life-long friends, who now resides in New York, came home to celebrate her daughters 1st Birthday. It was great seeing her and her entire family.
We cashed in on our Easter present from my parents.
These guys were in hog heaven with hot dogs, nachos, sprite, frozen lemonade, and ice-cream. When I went as a kid, we got a hot dog and our seats were in the nosebleed section you see in the background up there. My kids think that ground level behind home plate is where you always sit. Can we say spoiled?
Thank you for the game and all of the treats!
Now, my MIL had to clean out half of her house to fit us in, which meant going through tons of closets and drawers and cabinets. She cornered her two sons into going through their things. She had saved everything. Want to know how much stuff each guy kept?
About 5%. Men!
Bogie and Kai did gymnastics again this summer and guess how many shots I got of the two of them. If you guessed zero you are correct!
Peace.
