I just can’t get it together.

November just flew by, as have all of the months this year. Seriously -though… there just was not time for this little blog here. I think it will  be one of my New Years Resolutions to get back on the blogging bandwagon. Anyhow, without further ado here is what Team Dunbar has been up to.

Monkey got Student of the Month for Achievement in Math. We are really pleased with his teacher this year and she just loves him. IMG_3235IMG_3238IMG_3261IMG_3271IMG_3273

That same week Monkey got to celebrate his birthday at school.

The Bogster had his bi-annual EKG. His heart continues to grow and not show any stress which is really good. He has a new Pediatric Cardiologist, which wants to see him more often just because he wants to keep a closer look on him. This doctor has three little girls the same ages as my boys and he had great parent mannerisms, made me feel better. (Notice the crazy paint on the walls, the hospital wing was being re-vamped that same week.)

We had Monkey’s birthday celebration. It was one of those last minute things where I texted all of his friends moms’ and was like “Hey come play we’re celebrating Monkey’s birthday with Nerf guns and snacks.” It was all little boys and one little girl, notice the one donut that was different, he chose it for her. And then his mom forgot to buy birthday candles, so we improvised.IMG_3346IMG_3352IMG_3357IMG_3377IMG_3384

Bogie got his first haircut at the barber shop. He’s been begging for a year, so I finally consented, but told him “No spikes!” IMG_3419IMG_3415IMG_3420IMG_3422

Chunk got the back of his neck and side burns cleaned up.IMG_3454IMG_3462

My Grandpa passed away the week before Thanksgiving. He passed at home and is now in the arms of Jesus, which I am so thankful for. He doesn’t have to endure any more pain physically (or emotionally for that matter.) His ceremony was very moving, he was a Korean War Veteran, so he had the gun salute and the bugler. Oh my, that bugler is so sad.

My grandpa and grandma were married for almost sixty years and had eight kids, almost thirty grandkids and tons of great-grandkids.

We took some family shots on Thanksgiving. I am bound and determined to get my photos on the holidays before the festivities begin, otherwise I’ve learned, they just don’t happen.

And that concludes most of the November. It’s only December 8th, I’m not that far behind, am I?

PS: I’m on instagram now at ladynmen.

Aw, so good to catch up with the Dunbar clan. Life is so busy, but it is good to know that you guys are well. The boys look great, love simple birthdays and the new haircut! Sorry to hear about your Grandpa...what a legacy he left. Great pictures and a merry Christmas to all of the Dunbars!
