Love Weeks- Day 12

The Drop-Off

We wrapped up cupcakes and dropped them off at our other friends door steps. They weren't home so we couldn't ding-dong ditch, (See Jennita, we're cool like that, too.) But we were hoping to give them a little lovin when they got home from work and school.

Funny story, kind of:

We started with our friend's that lived the furthest from us, dropped off their cupcakes and then went to another friend's house, who live a few blocks from Costco. I knew I was going to need gas, so I figured I would get it after the second drop off. We waited in line for Costco gas, have you ever waited in the LONG lines? We get up to the pump and realize that I had no wallet. I still had one more drop off so we sped to the last house, with my gas light on bright, and then I coasted all the way home in neutral praying that my car wouldn't stop.

Monkey has been telling me since Tuesday, that I needed gas. Next time, I'll listen.

Oh I'm notorious for acts as such! Grocery shopping, get all my stuff up onto the belt & then realize I don't have my wallet. Or take my son for Special Mommy/Son dinner date, eat, thus realize once again I have no Wallet!!! :)

What sweet and pretty looking packages. You have inspired me to do some more valentine lovin next year. Thank you.

Glad you made it home without getting gas!

Phew. Glad you made it home. Running out of gas is one of my nightmares. You are so cute with your packages - today I made heart lunches for the kids; made hearts out of their ham, apples & cheese. Even my almost 9 y.o. asked for a heart lunch. :)

Okay, I totally laughed out loud at the comment about Islander!!! Yes, I guess if I could stick through that (if WE-you and I girl-could both stick through that) then it was meant to be. No going back after those CRAZY days/nights! Fun memories though! I should dig out some pictures of that...
That stealth picture of the boys is ADORABLE!
Your little Monkey is very smart. We all need someone like that to remind us about gas, now only if he could pump it for you...

my kids LOVE ding dong ditching! they find a reason to do it all the time. delivering a party invitation? ditch it. have cookies to share? ditch 'em. bored? ditch!
oh, and the gas thing sucks. just sucks.

OK, I'm commenting on your last 5 posts all in this one. I've had a busy week and not enough time for my bloggy friend updates. First of all - LOVE your Vday gift bags, cupcake party and that you actually wrapped the gifts for your kids friends. The heart attack idea is a great idea. I'll definitely borrow that for next year. And I LOVE the adorable pictures of your kids as well as your great blog header.

Hey is that my slide? hehe. We loved our cupcake surprise. Thank you for taking the time to not only think of us, but of making the treats, and then driving it all the way over to our home. We love you!!!
