Plan B

Well this past weekend I had a birthday. Another birthday, wowzers.

Mr. Dunbar had planned for the two of us grown-ups to go to our favorite little dive at the beach on Saturday night, but as luck would have it Bogie spiked a fever. So at the last minute I cancelled because come on, who could leave a kid at home with a temperature of 103? For 102 I probably would have left him. (just kidding.) Since our original plans were changed and the fever had broken, we all went to the Spaghetti Factory on Sunday for a quick lunch. Browned butter with mizithra cheese… YUM.

Monkey doesn’t eat pasta so I always order him a meatball. Yes, one meatball.

The parents came over Sunday evening for cake, since my mom insisted that it was important for the boys. They were in hog heaven with chocolate cake and icecream… these boys were running wild until almost 10pm! I’m instating a new rule: no sugar after 2pm.IMG_5786

Did you notice any consistency in the birthday candles?  (I’m #1.)

Aw, well. Another year. This one should be good, I can already feel it.

(I mean, who doesn’t like being kicked in the ribs from the inside?)

Belly pics forthcoming.

Happy Birthday - that pasta is making me hungry! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a sweet comment! The best part of blogging is meeting new people and getting introduced to their blogs! Yours is going to be fun to check out! Congrats on your pregnancy!

Kicked in the ribs from the inside... you are funny! Is the little dunbar strong enough to do that already! Wow, why do everyone else's pregnancies seem to just fly by.

Happy belated birthday to you! Sorry you had to resort to Plan B. Hopefully you get a rain check for that date night. I'm a big fan of that browned butter and mizithra cheese at SF though. Yum.

You may not remember the Good ol' days, when the Spaghetti Factory was only in New Port. But alas, if you couldn't go to your dive, you probably wouldn't have gone there either! I was giving props to Mr. D, for arranging babysitting, and a date. We talked while at soccer pictures. Give him points for trying! :) And I would think you have a credit for date night coming!!! Happy Bday!

Oh I miss getting kicked in the ribs from the inside...

That was a lie.

Happy Sweet Birthday, Sweet girl. (See, I called you girl. If you were old I'd have called you something like Ma'am. Or Woman.)
