I read a great lil post from Pink and Polka Dot and just had to comment, so I am tag teaming on her post Taker Downer or Keeper Upper.
I am a definite Taker Downer; the tree came down Christmas night, all of the decorations came down yesterday, and everything was rolled or pushed and shoved back to the garage this morning by Mr. Dunbar. (Thanks, Honey!) I love putting my decorations up but I also enjoy seeing them come down. I can't wait for the new year. Especially this year, 2009! It may be a big year for our family, most likely a year of changes, probably a year of struggles, definetely a year of growth. I can't wait. I've also been working on some new stuff.
I'll share it with you in the new year. So are you a keeper upper or a taker downer?

Taker Downer is a DOWNER!!!! I personally am a Keeper Upper!!! I keep up the decorations through New Year and that is our activity during the Parade is to take down the tree (positive of fake). I like having the lights on while the kids are playing with their loot, and just enjoying the end of the season. Besides, leaves a few more chances for romantic evenings by Christmas lights! Bah Humbug on Taker Downers!!! E
Ahh, you know me girl. I'm a Taker Downer. One more thing to check off my list before the new year. Can't wait to see what you've been up to!

taker downer :) We even took our stuff down christmas day one year... (before kids of course)
Keeper Upper! Although this year I've felt like being a Taker Downer. I don't take down my tree or Christmas decorations until after the New Year. I love the way my house looks during Christmas!
I would like to revisit my previous comment. I am a SLOW taker downer. It is a process that takes about a week, but it doesn't start until now, and will be finished on New Years. E
Take downer, all the way!
