A Chocolate Party

I was taking a shower the other day and the boys decided to have a Chocolate Party. This is what I found when I got to the kitchen.

So my kids love chocolate, they get that from me. But now I am detoxing our kitchen of the stuff.
On a side note:
Monkey has been cracking me up.

On the way to school yesterday he yelled from his seat, "You forgot to put cough medicine into me!" ~I didn't do what?

Then when we got home I noticed that a Band-Aid that I had put on him right before he left for school was no longer on his arm. When I asked him about it he told me,
"I guess it just took off."  ~Yeah , they do that sometimes.

Last night Mr. Dunbar and I were sitting on the couch right next to each other, Monkey climbed right into my lap put both of his little hands on my cheeks, looked straight into my eyes and said, "I'll fight him for you. I'll protect you Mommy." And then pounced on Mr. Dunbar. ~Okay, but don't hurt him too badly, he pays the bills.

This morning when he got up, I asked him why he came to my bed at 4am, he shrugged and said, "My bed just got lumpy." ~That's reason enough to go find another one.

Aye, this kid, he is forever making me laugh.

Hope we made you smile. Have a great day everyone.

Oh my - the chocolate faces are so cute! Hope they didn't get into your stash. And a lumpy bed...that is the best reason.

Absolutely PRECIOUS!! I love the funny way kids say things, and their sweet voices make it even better! Have a great day!:)

Kids that age say the funniest things! Hannah has been saying great things lately too. I've been writing them all down for an upcoming post.

Those chocolate faces are TOO much! What in the world did they get into? I bet they had fun.

PS- about the light scoop, so far I really like what it does. I bought mine on Adorama.com and it was only $19.95. No shipping and no tax charges either. I think for that it's worth it.

My daughter is the chocolate chip raider. She's 4 and says the funniest things too. Your boy is a crack up too it would seem.

Classic pictures -- I'll have to scan one in of our daughter when she was Monkey's age and she got into the caramel apple dip. Love the funny lines, too!

I love those precious moments when they are young and crazy funny ... but 'serious'... and creatively curious! ;) My little girl 'made' lemon poppyseed loaf once ... with a lemon poppyseed loaf I had just baked... some sliced ham, butter,a wooden spoon and a pan... she was mashing it all up together... I wish I had taken a picture! LOL! ;) Just Jenn~ seizing my day

i'll take the funny without the chocolate lotion! aye, the mischief kids can get into while we are in the shower. and how long is a mama's shower? NOT LONG. because we know. they'll get into enough trouble in those small five minutes to last us hours worth of damage control!
