Chop Sticks

We went to Pick Up Stix for dinner. Bogie was mesmerized by the windows and watching the rain come down.
Monkey wanted to use chop sticks.  He insisted on it. Chinese people use chop sticks.
Finally the great waiter of sorts brought us some "training wheels" for chop sticks.
They helped a little bit.

Monkey ate a few bites and then thought it would be more fun to talk with the little boy down the booth seat. "Hi, I'm Monkey. I have a Leapster. Do you have a Leapster. I can use chopsticks. Can you use chopsticks? This is Soy Sauce..."
He's just like his dad. Makes friends where ever he goes.

So, do you use chopsticks?

I love his friend making lines. Very Dunbar :)
Those training wheels are the best, I even still use them when I want to be authentic!

I wish I could use chopsticks! Lots of intensive training by a sophisticated friend and a trip to China and I STILL can't master those buggers! ;)

Btw, I've been meaning to tell you that your blog photos are awesome. You must have a great camera and a special eye because your pics always look great. :)

People assume I can use chopsticks b/c I'm asian. I borrow my kids' training wheels when using chopsticks. I think b/c I am hungry and don't have the patience.

Don't you just love Young Childrens conversations amongst each other!!
Yes, my husband taught us to use Chopstick so now, even when I'm ravenously wanting to chow down, my son makes me use my chopstick! ;)
If your local Costco doesn't have them, check another one close by. Mine didn't have them, but the costco 15 miles away did!!

I go with the fork every time. I'm too impatient and face it how in the world can you eat rice with those things? I don't get it!! The hubby on the other hand is a pro!

Very cute post! Love his pick up lines too! I pretend like I know how to use chopsticks and sometimes I do pretty good. I did go on a date once where my he (my date) asked the waiter for some training wheels for me. Funny, but I have a chopstick complex now ;)

So cute. My husband taught me how to use chopsticks back in the "courting" days. I was a little old to learn how (22). My oldest daughter can use them like no one's business. I am a little jealous of her mad skills!
