Almost too pretty too use

In a house with three boys and two dogs you need a heavy duty vacuum to handle all of the dirt, and hair, and crumbs that make their way around the house. For over a year now my vacuum had been acting up. It wasn’t really getting everything up that it used to and then a few months ago it started spitting some of the dirt back out. Yes, it  did in fact shoot some of the dirt and crud back out onto the floor! When we bought it, it was the top of the line. Dyson 7 Animal.  That was 8 years ago. I don’t really know how long vacuums are supposed to last but we used the heck out of ours and well it was just time to retire the poor thing.

This past weekend this beauty made its way into our home. July 024

Look at this perfectly clean tank. No hair. No dust bunnies. No dirt. Ah, well. We got picture for memories sake.July 031July 026

This “ball” thing is really interesting, it makes the vacuum much lighter and easier to turn. But it takes some getting used to. Don’t worry, I got used to it real quick. July 023July 028July 029

Watch out dirt, this thing is coming to get you. July 035          She was almost too pretty too use. Almost.

ADDED: My dad texted me saying his house needs to be vacuumed. {Silly guy.}

How was your 4th?

Ours was low key.

July 040

Don’t let this smile fool you, he hadn’t slept in 2 nights and a few hours after this picture was taken we were sitting in Urgent Care. I thought perhaps he had some sort of virus in his throat or an ear infection because he refused to latch on to eat and he was screaming wildly. Of course when we saw the doctor he was all smiles again, lil buster.

But nope no virus or infection just a bad cold. In July.

We watched fireworks from our driveway.

Happy July.

now you just have to teach the boys to use the new vaccuum and you'll be set. glad to hear your littlest one only has a cold, isn't that the worst feeling that you think something is wrong, but can't even attempt to guess what. Hope the day brings about some rest

Hi Mrs. Dunbar. I was just over at Life in the Hass House and saw you won her giveaway - So I thought I would hop over and say congratulations. I have read that series of books and they are great.

We just got our first Dyson several months ago and I LOVE it...although kinda heavy. I should of gotten the ball!

Anyway, nice to "meet" you. I will come back...I read you have three boys, I have two myself.

We've had the original dyson for 5 years now and LOVE it! It's truly like no other vacuum out there. AND, we too had a bad cold going around in our household in July...CRAZY!

Oh my gosh, it is a beauty! And your chubby little baby is ADORABLE! For the last month, I haven't been able to comment on half the blogs I read (including yours. Looks like my latest Windows update fixed my problem. Anyway, wanted to say HI :)

Be still my heart. I love new vacuum cleaners. And I have a secret...shhh...I buy a new one every year. Not nice ones like a Dyson, but a fresh one. Do you know, I have actually missed vacuuming while I've been on my island? We have all tile, no carpet, and I miss the humm and trance it puts me in to vacuum. Plus, you feel like your house is instantly clean. Anyway, I hope she is good to you.

Sorry the babe has a summer cold. Nothing worse. Lovin that smile though.

That makes me scared, because I know who is responsible for making you buy the original Dyson, and mine is still ticking.......maybe not for long. I hate summer colds, it seems as if it is an oxymoron. Hope he feels better soon. If it makes you feel better G went too :(
