For Erica

Well, I received a phone call from my sister-in-law yesterday demanding that I start blogging again, so, here goes.

For Erica. We’ve been busy and then again, not so busy. When I think I’m crazy busy, I just remember my good friend Ali, who just had twins. Twin boys. Here she is with one of them , the other, on this day, was still in the NICU. (But he’s home now.)

He was so itty bitty. Just like a little doll at 5 pounds. I didn’t want to leave, I just wanted to snuggle him for hours. IMG_9749

Here’s big brother working on his puzzles. IMG_9751

I had my own mommy moment watching this one sleep. He is so peaceful, when he’s konked out- and only when he’s totally out. I love how my boy’s snuggle with their animals.

IMG_9759Monkey had his Open House at school. I started to take some shots of his work…IMG_9762

but then I looked over to see Chunk destroying the classroom and that was that. The camera instantly had to be put away to contain this guy. IMG_9764

And the Chunk has grown.  Big time. He’s a monster on the move. But he’s still really adorable after bath time.

And just so you can see him action… he’s gotten into moving the trash cans in the kitchen all over the place. It is really important work for him. Chunk concentrates and huffs and puffs and works until everything is just as he wants it.

So, as you can see, we’ve been busy, but not really busy. I’ve been really trying to be “here” like really here when the boys are up. With all three boys moving in separate directions I feel like I’m spinning and spinning and spinning. Ever feel that way?

Well, I only have one boy, but I feel that way most days. In fact, I've felt that way for 4 years now, every day is a crazy day where I think, in a minute I'm going to sit and rest and have some quiet time. That really doesn't happen. I can't seem to make it happen. I'm in a constant state of discipline, picking things up, making meals, and spinning just like you described.

Love the picture of your little one sleeping. They are so cute when they are sleeping! :) I also love that One Fish, Blue Fish towel. So cute. Have a great day!

Love those last pics of your littlest re-arranging the trash cans. I always wonder what they are thinking when I see them so determined!
Hope you and your boys have a great Easter Weekend!

I was wondering why you were so quiet! I think this time of the year is so busy. Everything wrapping up and the sprint to summertime. Your boys are so sweet...
