We’ve started this tradition where we hang out for a morning in December with a cousin of mine and her adorable boys and we have our own little mini-Christmas celebration. The boys all wear pajamas and then we do something like make ornaments or paint or something crafty.
She got this idea from Pinterest, everyone chose three or four colors and then squeezed and shook.
It was a fun fun morning and we made some good memories.
We also wen to a family Christmas party, hosted by some of our school friends. My friend Gillian had everything planned out for everyone; little kids, big kids, crafty kids, gambling for dads, table chats for moms. It was a a blast.
When I walked over and asked Mr. Dunbar what he was doing, he said he was helping Monkey with his math facts. Uhhh, ok.
Then my Monkey discovered the wonder of Just Dance 4 on the XBOX Kinect. It was a lot of fun to watch. And even better that I knew he would love JD4, ours of course was for the Wii.
Bogie had his class Christmas Party where the parents are all invited. When Mr. Dunbar is present, I am chopped liver. Bogie was really excited to have his dad at his party.
And when I ask him to smile for the camera, this is what I get.
I sat down, got my camera ready and then realized I was in the wrong spot to be taking pictures of my kid, so I obnoxiously got up and went to the other side of the room. Sorry if I photo bombed your shot, other parents.
More to come.

I love your recap! I'm ready for summer, but I'm already missing Christmas a bit. Makes no sense. Looks like you had a full and wonderful holiday!
