Let’s work backwards, shall we?

Happy Be-Lated Mother’s Day to all of you Mommies out there. I hope you had an extra special day and felt loved and appreciated.  We had a nice afternoon at my mom’s house. Both of my grandma’s were able to make it, so that was nice. I don’t think I’ve spent Mother’s Day with them in a decade at least.

Here they are with their youngest great-grandchild:

We (my mom’s kids) finally got our act together and were able to put together a combined gift for my mom.

It was also my sister-in-law’s birthday. Which of course was the boys’ favorite part. IMG_3395

It was a nice relaxing afternoon.

And since the title of this post says I’m working backwards, I’ll give you a clue as to where the Dunbar’s were the previous three days.

Anyone know where this lion resides?

Tomorrow’s post will tell you all about it.

I love the book you did for your Mom & I must say she looks stunning for a Grandmother!

I'm guessing that Lion is in Vegas, almost looks eatable ;)

And to comment back, that's terrible no appreciation was made for your Mama back in the day. I know I'm partial b/c I'm living the life as a Military Spouse, but I do honestly feel like it's one of the toughest jobs there possibly is, and for the children too!! So, tell Your Mom Thank you for her Dedication to this Great Country and for all of her sacrifices!

Thank you so much for visiting and for your comments today. I almost had a heart attack when I read the part about the 7 year olds conversations. Where on earth do they hear these things?! Yikes!

I'm so inspired by the name of your blog. I strive to live intentionally but get so discouraged when "things" and "life" gets in the way. Here's hoping for tomorrow... :)

Thanks again,
Erin
What a beautiful post. It's such a great reminder that we, too, are in need of God's forgiveness. And we all are undeserving of it.

Thank you for your visit and comments today. I love it when you stop by and share your wisdom and experience. I really don't know what the answer is, but I do know that we serve a big God. I keep thinking that when 2 or more gather in His name He promises He will be with us. I don't know what the end result will be, but I know He wants me to fight for what is right.

Thank you again,
Erin
