25 Weeks

 IMG_7064b

Yup, that’s me, standing on top of the toilet in the bathroom trying to figure out how to get a focused picture.

Sorry, it was either focused without a head, or unfocused with one.

I chose the former.

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 25 Weeks

Size of baby: Baby D is just about 13.5 inches and 1.5 pounds.

Total Weight Gain: Gained 15lbs pounds, seriously!

Maternity Clothes: I’m already getting tired of the same tops over and over and over and over…

Gender: BOY

Movement: Been kicked in the ribs this week other than that, this guy is pretty mellow.

Sleep: Yes, I am drained by the end of the day. But I did purchase a new pillow this morning, we’ll see if this makes the mornings any easier.

What I miss: Size 2 jeans and a butt that fits into them.

Cravings: Nothing in particular. But Thai food sure does sound good right now.

Symptoms: My back is already sore and Jennitta told me yesterday in church that I was wadling.

Best Moment this week: When my dad told me he’s going to give me enough money to cover my dream nursery and buy a Land Rover. I should go pick up that check before he changes his mind.        Oh wait, maybe I was dreaming about that.

Okay, second runner up moment would be that I have an 80% chance of a VBAC. (Because I’m all about pushing this guy out.)

But check out my friend Kim’s Birth Story. HERE And it just might make you re-think this natural childbirth concept.

Your belly looks great! I remember they used to try VBAC a lot, then stoped. Are they recommending it again now? Very exciting, and 25 weeks! You're getting closer.

land rovers are over-rated. while they are fabulous, sturdy cars and fun to drive, the 10 MPG's killed me. so make sure taht check comes with a gas allowance! i sold mine and bought a prius. i will always think that is funny!

I see that you need that full length mirror as well! :)

You look like a size 2 with a belly. A little belly.

Good luck with your VBAC! That would be great to have no surgery. I could not believe how great I felt after Claire was born. 4 hours of labor, and we were home in about 12 hours. Much better than the first time around. Good luck to you!

You look great! I remember the boredom of maternity clothes - uck. Hopefull you can get a few new cute things for the holidays - nothing like a new shirt to perk up a pregnant woman!
