This is what is used to look like. It was Mr. Dunbar's desk, when he used to work from home. But now it is my desk, because now I work at home. So I finally changed it up a bit, a while back.
This is the material I used. In the picture below, it looks like crinkled paper bags, but that is so not the case. Its a really nice woven fabric that just happens to be the same color as paper bags.
And this is what my desk looks like now.
So much nicer for me. I love the new chair. Mr. Dunbar doesn't. He says it hurts his back and his butt. I say, "Don't sit in it then. You stole the fancy laptop we got for Christmas a few years back. Go use that computer, elsewhere."
He just laughs.
Oh, well, he's a happy man other than that.

Love it! It's nice to picture where you blog from (or do you steal back the fancy laptop and perch yourself on the couch to blog?)
I like the fabric. I also like the blue flowers peaking out from the top of the desk!
:) That made me laugh. I love you the new look & especially the blue flowers!
What a great space. Tell Mr. D you'll trade him the laptop for a new chair ;)
It looks very nice and clean. Oh. . . and my "missing flowers" look great too! I'm glad you found them, they much nicer in your home than in my garage.
Love Mom
Looks great!! I don't have a desk either. Jeff has one in the room he calls "his office" and I sit on the floor in the family room typing away. I like what you've done with your space... a very dramatic change!
I love what you did with that desk!! It's very Ballard Design looking. Tres chic!
