Me, Today

I wasn't liking the other layout.
Time for a change.
Something new, soon.
I was inspired by Casey.
Life is pretty crazy over here.
Sickness... again!
Major illness, another grandparent.
Career change on the horizon.
Feeling more and more like an adult, everyday.
Wishing for a nap.
Grateful to be with my boys.
Wanting to vacation with my husband.
Longing for peace. And quiet.

Sorry to hear about your grandparent. I hope things settle down for you so you can get your peace & quiet. Hugs to you.

I don't have any answers, BUT I do have distrations! Want to come over and play? Also, we are going to the beach this weekend. Come down.

You are my blogging mentor -- figure out new layouts and than coach me :)

Yes, I've felt like Peter Pan lately, too -- "I don't wanna grow up!"

Hang in there. Peace for your heart.

I feel ya girl! Not sure how I feel about this growing up thing either. Soemtimes I feel that mid-life crisis thing coming on and want to take all the other "hats" off and just be me. Moms wear too many hats if you know what I mean. I'll be praying for you!

Do you ever feel like you are still the kid. Look around and wonder "What the heck? I have kids, I am responsible for?????" I feel 17 on most days! I wish for 17 again on some days. I relish the fact that my teens are indeed actually over the rest of the time. Praying for you!

Well, judging by the comments, you have already had your fair share of commiserating buddies. But I will join the crowd. Growing up is hard to do, but it didn't seem so difficult as I was getting married and acquiring kids! Career change for you or your husband? Michael, my hubs, just got out of the military to take a job in a new state, and now hopes to get another new job and move back....oh boy...

All that being said, after a little more reflection, I wouldn't change it for anything, it is tough now, but the horizon looks pretty good!
