Treasures

Mr. Dunbar and I are home from our annual Married Couples Getaway.
We had such a good time this year, as always.
The theme this year was Treasure.
As in, what do you treasure? And how can you prove it?
You know what the right answer is supposed to be, right?
Jesus.
That's always the right sunday school answer isn't it.
Here are just a couple of pictures.
Friday night right before the kick off and dance party.
This was the view from our room, over looking the golf course.
Our Saturday dinner, we went out for Mexican. It was a fun night.
How come men never grow-up?
So I'm curious, what do you treasure?

Just popped by your blog and thought I would say hello. My name is Genn, and I have seen your link on Amber's blog. I went to high school with her.

Your blog is great. Very fun to read. Your boys are adorable.

Sometimes the simple questions are the deepest. Thanks for making me ponder that one (I think!).

I treasure a church that wants to annually invest in the marriages that are fed there. I treasure the friends that understand when you are swamped, but will let you cut in the dinner line, so that there is food in my belly. I treasure the friends, who will dance with my hubby because I don't like THAT kind of dancing, but she is more than willing ;) I treasure a hotel that is a wonderful resort, where you can relax and actually unwind. I treasure the fun, that generally comes with good friends. Oh and I DO treasure Jesus as well, because he has blessed me with these things!

What a fun getaway! Tomorrow is our anniverary, and I've been reflecting on how much I treasure my husband. (Even if he can't put dirty clothes in the hamper.) ;) Glad that you had fun!
